About Us
Monta Vista CSF's Project Literacy is our year-round service project. Our mission is to raise funds through booksales and donations from our chapter members and local community for various registered charities that build schools, libraries, and sponsor scholarships for children in impoverished Southeastern countries like Cambodia, Nepal, India, Laos, Vietnam. Project Lit has donated over $2000 towards building a public children's library in Parbat, Nepal through "Room to Read," an organization that builds libraries in third-world countries. Below are pictures of the completed library. We hope to continue to spread the gift of literacy and impact the lives of many more children in a great and positive way.
