Members are described as active or inactive every semester.
Active Status - Members must complete at least 5 hours of volunteer service and must complete extra hours if penalized.
Inactive Status - Failure to meet the above requirements results in this status.
When and where are CSF meetings held?
Members are responsible for attending bimonthly meetings in the Student Center on Tuesdays.
Officers will notify members at least one day in advance if meetings are cancelled. |
| -Seniors meet at brunch in the Student Center on the first Tuesday of each month |
| -Juniors meet at brunch in the Student Center on the second Tuesday of each month |
| -Sophomores meet at brunch in the Student Center on the third Tuesday of each month |
| -Freshmen meet at brunch in the Student Center on the fourth Tuesday of each month |
| *Each missed meeting results in a one hour deduction. |
Volunteer Activities & Events
| -Log in to find and sign up for volunteer opportunities. By default, your username is your student ID number and your password is your last name (all lower case). |
| -Wear your CSF shirt (purchasable at $6) or sweatshirt ($20) to activities. One hour will be deducted if CSF attire is not worn. |
| -Sign in and out of your activities with the officer or coordinator in charge. Failure to comply will result in unrecorded hours. |
Senior Awards and Distinction
| Life Member Status |
| Active 4-6 Semesters |
-will receive a diploma and tassel on Monta Vista Senior Awards Night |
| Active 6 Semesters |
-will receive a cord in one of his or her classes before last day of school |

| 100% Life Member Status |
| Active 7 Semesters |
-will receive a diploma, tassel, and stole on Monta Vista Senior Awards Night |

| Senior Scholarships |
| -Applications released on the second Monday of April and shall be due the last Friday of April. |
| -Officers shall review the applications anonymously (validated by an assistant principal) and evaluate applicants based upon: |
| -Activity in Monta Vista CSF for the past 4 years |
| -Initiative in and dedication to in-school and out-of-school commitments |
| -Academic record |
| -Personality reflected in personal response questions |
