CSF History
The California Scholarship Federation was founded in 1921 by Mr. Charles F. Seymour, who sought to honor and unify outstanding high school students in the state of California. Today, approximately 1000 CSF chapters and 600 CJSF chapters continue to foster the recognition, motivation, and education of academically talented students, and to promote among their chapter memberships the CSF ideal of service to their communities. The verbose CSF history can be found at http://csf-cjsf.org/History.asp.
